| Tentacles |
I've only used these once in a previous layout but they came out great! If you can find a way to weave these tentacles into a well defined background, they can add a lot to your design. 1. Choose two colors. Put each color in the two style boxes. Click on the arrow of the first one and choose 'gradient.' 2. Begin a new image. Fill the image with your gradient by using the fill tool (  ) and clicking once on your image.3. We'll be using the retouch tool (  ) to create the tentacles. Click on it and then bring up your tool options window ( ). Copy these settings.4. Now click and drag from the bottom to top (or vice versa) to create your tentacle.  To get the dots bigger or smaller, change your circle Size. To get more or less space in between the dots, play with the Step settings. |
